Chef Rojeen Luitel, originally from Biratnagar, Morang, Nepal, has transformed his early fascination with cooking into a remarkable international culinary career. Growing up in Dhulikhel, he spent countless hours in the kitchen alongside his brother, Kiran Khadka, whose guidance, encouragement, and passion for food deeply influenced Rojeen’s journey. From these formative experiences, Rojeen developed a profound understanding of how food connects people, instilling in him a lifelong devotion to culinary arts.


Rojeen’s professional journey began with formal culinary training, earning Certificates III and IV in Commercial Cookery as well as a specialized certificate in Continental Cuisine. These credentials, paired with hands-on experience, enabled him to excel in diverse culinary environments. He honed his craft across multiple cuisines, focusing on continental and fine dining techniques while mastering both classical and modern approaches to food preparation and presentation.

Currently based in Sydney, Australia, Chef Rojeen serves as the Head Chef at Café Mazal, a premier fine dining establishment. His leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration, discipline, and empathy, creating a supportive kitchen culture where staff and guests alike thrive. Rojeen takes pride in designing innovative dishes inspired by Nepali flavors while maintaining global culinary standards, reflecting his unique ability to bridge tradition with contemporary gastronomy.
