Hotel Pauwa Pvt. Ltd., a hospitality brand built on domestic investment, collective ownership, and the spirit of Nepali hospitality, has announced a nationwide “Swad Utsav” (Taste Festival) across all its branches to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

According to the company, the three-day festival will take place on April 8, 9, and 10, during which all Hotel Pauwa outlets across the country will offer special dishes, authentic Nepali flavors, and a variety of hospitality experiences to provide guests with a unique culinary celebration.

Chairman Durga Prasad Bhandari stated that within a short period, Pauwa has successfully established a distinct identity in Nepal’s hospitality industry.“We consider the first decade as our institutional childhood. This phase has provided us with experience, confidence, and a clear direction,” he said. He added that the company plans to expand into major tourist destinations across the country in the coming decade and play an active role in promoting both domestic and international tourism.

Vice Chairman Dhurba Raj Neupane noted that although 10 years is a short period in business, the growth and institutional development achieved by Hotel Pauwa during this time has been remarkable.“The journey that began with just seven rooms is now moving toward the concept of five-star hotels and resorts,” he said. “Developing through a collective investment model, Pauwa has become an example demonstrating the potential of Nepali chain hotels.”

Hotel Pauwa started its journey from a seven-room house in Saljhandi, Rupandehi, and has gradually built a strong presence in the Nepali hospitality sector. Today, the brand operates 20 branches across different parts of the country. With the slogan “Where Nepali Hospitality Begins,” Pauwa has been emphasizing the preservation and promotion of Nepali language, culture, and indigenous cuisine.

On the occasion of its anniversary, the company will also organize an investment conference titled “Bitaayau Balapan” (We Have Passed the Childhood Phase) at its Bhairahawa branch. The event aims to engage investors and partners in discussions about future strategies and expansion plans.

According to Vice Chairman Neupane, the conference will focus on the company’s long-term expansion strategy called “Mission 100.”

Branding Department Head Bishnu Prasad Bhandari explained that Mission 100 is not merely a numerical expansion target but a long-term strategy focused on strengthening management capacity, brand credibility, and institutional maturity.

Currently, the Hotel Pauwa network employs more than 1,000 staff members and includes over 250 investors, the company stated. With the goal of creating employment opportunities within Nepal and strengthening Nepali hospitality at an institutional level, Pauwa continues to move forward with its expansion journey.
