Chef Nabindra Raj Giri’s culinary journey is a story of passion, perseverance, and dedication. Born in Ramechhap, Nepal, Chef Nabindra grew up in a humble household where he spent his childhood helping his mother in the kitchen. It was in these early moments, watching and assisting with daily cooking, that his love for food and cooking first took root. He realized that food is more than nourishment — it is a way to bring people together, express creativity, and evoke happiness.

Chef Nabindra began his professional journey in Nepal, starting in bustling kitchens as a commis chef and assistant cook, learning the fundamentals of culinary arts, hygiene standards, and kitchen discipline. His dedication and curiosity allowed him to progress steadily, mastering Indian Curry, Tandoori cuisine, and multicuisine operations. Each role prepared him for the challenges and responsibilities of managing high-volume kitchens and developing his leadership skills.

His talents soon took him abroad, where he joined prestigious establishments in the UAE and Qatar, including Jamie Oliver Restaurants in Dubai and Doha, and currently, he serves as Chef in Charge at Doha Oasis Cinema. Chef Nabindra has led teams, managed multiple kitchens, maintained strict hygiene and HACCP standards, and overseen recipe standardization, menu planning, and cost control. His work has consistently elevated food quality and guest experiences, earning him recognition as a professional committed to excellence.
