Born on September 1, 1986, in Nepal, Chef Durga Bahadur Khadka is a celebrated culinary expert known for his creativity, leadership, and deep passion for gastronomy. His professional journey spans across prestigious establishments in India and Bhutan, where he has elevated kitchens with his innovative approach and fusion of flavors.


Chef Khadka began his culinary career as a Sous Chef at The Golden Wok in Navi Mumbai. His dedication and talent soon led him to the role of Executive Sous Chef at K-astar Hotel, followed by senior positions at Han Dynasty, Hotel Kings Jaipur Rajapark, and Grand 07 Wyndham Ahmedabad Sela. At each of these venues, he developed a strong foundation in menu development, recipe innovation, and kitchen operations. Specializing in multicuisine, desserts, and fusion food, he became known for creating memorable culinary experiences.

A significant milestone in his career was his role as Corporate Chef at the Monarch Group in Mumbai, where he oversaw multiple restaurant outlets, led national and international food festivals, and implemented staff training and standardization across the group. Today, Chef Durga Khadka serves as the Executive Chef at Hotel Tashi Yid Wong Grand, where he continues to push culinary boundaries. His menus reflect a rich mix of traditional Nepali flavors infused with global techniques, capturing the spirit of modern gastronomy. Beyond his kitchen leadership, he is also active in the culinary community, participating in food festivals, showcasing authentic Nepali dishes, and training young chefs.
