Born on July 22, 1990, in Urlabari, Morang District, Chef Dambar Adhikari’s journey is one shaped by resilience, quiet determination, and an unbreakable will to grow. Raised by his grandparents from the age of two, he spent his childhood under their loving care, learning the values of discipline, independence, and hard work. Though separated from his parents for many years, the guidance of his grandparents became the foundation of his character and work ethic.
After completing his high school education in Morang, Dambar set his sights beyond borders in search of opportunity. In December 2011, he traveled to the UAE and began his hospitality career with Pizza Hut, initially working in service roles as a waiter and kitchen helper. These early years taught him the fundamentals of teamwork, customer service, and operational discipline.

His career progressed steadily through roles at Subway and later in Kuwait with Pizza Hut under Al Homaizi Foodstuff Co. (Kout Food Group), where his commitment and leadership skills earned him promotions from team member to supervisor. While service was his strength, his growing passion for cooking drew him toward the kitchen—a transition that marked a defining turn in his professional path.
From 2021 onward, Dambar deepened his culinary journey, working with Cocoa Room by Gastronomica and later joining PizzaExpress under the Alshaya Group in Kuwait as a Commis Chef. Here, he refined his technical skills, embraced kitchen discipline, and committed himself fully to the craft of cooking.

Chef Dambar’s dedication has been recognized on competitive platforms as well. He is a multiple award winner in pizza challenges at area, national, and international levels, including podium finishes at HORECA Kuwait and participation in the PizzaExpress World Championship. These achievements reflect not just speed and technique, but consistency under pressure.
Known among colleagues as motivated, reliable, and fast-learning, Chef Dambar brings strong teamwork, excellent communication, and professionalism to every kitchen he works in. With solid experience in both service and culinary operations, complemented by food safety and skill-development training, he continues to grow as a chef with confidence and humility.
From Morang to the Middle East, Chef Dambar Adhikari’s story is one of perseverance—proof that passion, when paired with patience and hard work, can transform challenges into a meaningful culinary journey.
