Born and raised in the beautiful hills of Sindhupalchowk, Nepal, Chef Bikram Tamang discovered his passion for cooking at an early age. Inspired by his elder brother, who is also a chef, Bikram first learned to prepare momos and noodles alongside his teachers and friends during his school years. What began as simple curiosity soon evolved into a lifelong commitment to the culinary arts.
Chef Bikram completed his Higher Secondary education in Hotel Management at Laligurans Rastriya College (LRC), Nepal, where he built a strong foundation in hospitality and professional kitchen operations. He further strengthened his practical skills through a three-month internship at German Homes Hospitality, gaining hands-on experience in international and continental cuisine.

With over four years of professional culinary experience, Chef Bikram has worked across Nepal and the United Arab Emirates, developing expertise in Asian, Continental, Italian, and Russian cuisine. His journey includes 18 months in Nepali kitchens and more than two years in Dubai’s fast-paced hospitality industry. Currently based in Dubai, he serves as a Commi Chef while specializing in traditional Russian dishes and international food preparation.
Throughout his career, Chef Bikram has been recognized for his discipline, adaptability, and strong work ethic. During his time at German Homes Hospitality, he earned the title of “Employee of the Month” for his dedication and performance. He is highly skilled in kitchen operations, food preparation, plating, inventory management, sanitation standards, and working efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality.

Known for his attention to detail and passion for authentic flavors, Chef Bikram believes food is more than nourishment — it is storytelling on a plate. His cooking reflects both technical precision and cultural appreciation, bringing together global influences with heartfelt creativity.
Coming from a close-knit family of ten, Chef Bikram credits much of his inspiration and determination to his brothers and uncles, who motivated him to pursue a professional culinary career. Beyond the kitchen, he enjoys playing football, hiking, listening to music, and exploring new experiences that continue to inspire his culinary journey.

Driven by continuous learning and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Chef Bikram represents the new generation of Nepali chefs proudly making their mark on the international culinary stage.
